ROBINS-MOLDEEN (NEÉ POLLOCK): It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, June Margaret Erica, which occurred at the Brandon Assiniboine Centre on January 30, 2010. June was born in Winnipeg on June 11, 1917, the eldest of two children born to James and Jean Pollock. June received her education in Regina and Brandon. June married Clair Robins in 1941 and they settled on a farm in the Brandon Hills District, having one son. Clair and June had 21 years together before Clair's passing in 1962. Clark Insurance Agency, then with the Children's Aid Society with the Department of Health and Social Development. Moving on, June worked as a Homemaker Supervisor with Home Care until her retirement in 1982. In 1976, June married Norman Moldeen of Brandon. The two of them got involved in the antique business. They also travelled extensively through Canada and U.S.A. Among her special interests were family, friends, ceramics, knitting, shuffleboard, travelling and playing the piano. June was a dedicated family person and was incredibly proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She celebrated their accomplishments and inspired and encouraged them in their ventures. June had a true love of life and was always there for family and friends.
