Obituary of Dashayna Miracle Walker

WALKER: Dashayna Miracle (Wicankpe Wiyakpakpa Win) Sparkling Star Woman Walker. Dashayna came into this world on September 16, 2009 and passed away into the spirit world on April 10, 2010. Dashayna is survived by her parents, mother Joanna Evans and father Glen Walker; grandmothers Corinne Pratt and Maxine Walker; grandfathers Charles Evans and Glen Wood; sisters Hilana Anasha, Ariel Sinica and brothers Azhure and Dalyin; numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her great grandparents Hilda Pratt and Daniel Wombdiska of Sioux Valley and Max Merrick of Long Plains. Dashayna spent her short life at the Children's Hospital at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. In her short life she touched the hearts of many people and we will cherish those memories of our little angel. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street. Traditional ceremonies will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sioux Valley Veteran's Memorial Hall. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Bernhardt and Mark Hall officiating. Interment to follow at the Pratt Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital at the Health Sciences Centre, 820 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3A 0A1.
