Dad was born at Hayfield, MB and after his schooling in Brandon, he worked for 39 years (1941-80) with the CPR and was secretary/treasurer for the BMWE Union for 20 years. He proudly served his country in the 26th Field Regiment with tours in Europe and Kiska in the Aleutian Islands. Dad was awarded an Honorary Life Membership and a citation of "Order for Service" with ANAF. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Dad was predeceased by his first wife Laura in 1960, brothers Ernie and Frank, and stepdaughter Pat. Albert and May married in 1961 and lived in Green Acres and Lions Manor prior to Hillcrest. Albert and May enjoyed their travels to Europe, Hawaii and all over North America with several winter stays in Mesa, AZ. They were members of Trinity and Central United Churches for many years.
