Obituary of Gwendoline Florence Sawatzky

SAWATZKY, Gwendoline Florence passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the High River Hospital on February 4th, 2011 at the age of 68 years. Gwen is survived by her loving husband Henry; daughter Janna; son Doug; daughter in law Alison and her loving grandchildren Jacob and Megan. Gwen was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba and married Henry in 1965. Together they spent many years working and travelling throughout western Canada. Gwen was not only a Registered Nurse for 40 plus years, but a talented seamstress who loved music and stitching. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Okotoks. A Graveside Service will be held at the Brandon Municipal Cemetery in Brandon, Manitoba on Monday, February 14th at 11:00 a.m.. The family would like to thank the staff at the High River Hospital for providing such wonderful care.
