Through this group, he organized a rally, and travelled to the Snoman Conventions in Vermont and Calgary. His other love was camping and he always had either a camper or motorhome, until he bought his cabin at Oak Lake where he loved to go and relax in the summer. Don is survived by his beloved wife Sandra, and daughters Shawna (Jon Gilbert) and Tina (Cam Hampshire), brothers Syd, John and Steve (Leigh Miller) and sister Elizabeth and their families, and sisters-in-law, Chris Dmyterko, Sharon (Doug) Ross, Marilyn (Don) Beltz, Linda Campbell, Valerie (Bill) Boyce, Kim (Gord Teed) Pickett, Joanne (Grant Reynolds) Medd and families, and mother-in-law Inga Pickett.
