I am so glad i got to know Doreen. She enriched my life with her laughter, thoughts, experiences and just plain enjoyment. She lived for the moment, cherished the past and there was always something in the future for her until she knew her future would take place in a different world. She spoke with pride of her two children, Cheryl and Bill. She loved her family and friends. She always had an interesting way of looking at things, she knew her own mind and would not hesitate to let you know, and yet she was thoughtful and caring of others. I know you will all miss her, she has brought so much to our lives, we should not shed tears, but should cheer her on in her new life. At first she was just someone I volunteered to spend time with, but she soon became a friend, a good friend, and I will remember her as that.
