Gary and Jean,
Sincere sympathy is the loss of your father and father-in-law, Dick. Dick was a fun loving man. I remember him from playing bridge with him and your mother, Alice. They were fun games. I remeber your dad as a bit of a teaser. Losing a father or parent is hard. It means that we are the generation that are replacing them. We seem forever young until we lose our parents. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Dear Alice, Jeannie, Sharon and families,
Please accept our deepest and sincere condolences. We were so sorry to hear the news of Uncle Dick's passing. You can take great comfort in the fact that Dick enjoyed 90 great years and lived life to the fullest. He especially took immense pride and enjoyment of his (growing) family and many dear friends.
Uncle Dick was always a 'special' brother and a very dear 'friend' to my Dad, and it is comforting to know that Doug and Dick will once again be re-united.
I also have special memories as a child, on our visits to Brandon and the farm. A favourite memory of mine was the opportunity to ride in the oil truck with Uncle Dick as he made his rounds. I still remember that he would have me royally entertained and rolling in laughter. Later, it was always special when Uncle Dick and Aunt Alice would visit Ottawa and we would get together for a meal and a re-union.
We are sorry we are unable to attend the service in person, however, please know that you are very much in our thoughts and prayers through this most difficult time.
With much love,
Peter, Susan an Marie Wesley

We are remembering Uncle Dick with much love. One of my memories is that Dick always had a twinkle in his eye and couldn't wait to share a joke or do some friendly teasing. He loved to make us laugh! He will be missed by so many family and friends.
We will be thinking of everyone and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead. May all of the wonderful memories we have keep him in our hearts forever.
With much love,
Andrea, Joe & family
