GERMAN: Margaret Leith German (Gammack): On January 11th, 2013 Margaret passed away at Fairview Home at the age of 96. She was born on September 19, 1916 near Hamiota, MB. She leaves to mourn one brother, Laverne (Grace) of Weyburn, SK and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Leonard; parents Isabella and James; brothers Alex, Bill, Jim, Ernie, Bob, and Russell; sisters Blanche Lawn and Isabelle Kerr; niece Pat Brooking; nephew Bob Gammack Jr. and great nephew, Corey Hoffer. During her working years, she was employed by Fairview and the Ag Centre in the Housekeeping department. Margaret was a devoted member of St. George's Anglican Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking and looking after her extended family in her spare time. She was a caring woman, especially to all of her extended family. All of her nieces and nephews were like her own children, and she took a keen interest in their lives and well being. She always had a kind word for everyone she came in contact with. Margaret will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Friday, June 7th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Brown (family member) officiating. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
