"Aunt" Ruth was a lifelong friend of our family, as well as being my Godmother. She was truly a lovely lady - kind, happy, never saw her angry, game to try anything. She loved people, square dancing, travelling with Mel all over the world, Chinese food, corn on the cob and home preserves to name a few. Many delightful memories of times spent with Ruth starting in the 1940's (Winnipeg); and later with Ruth & Mel (Hartney & Brandon). Rest in peace, Ruth. You will be missed.
