I met Dwayne years ago when he became a customer and visitor to Lewiscraft while I worked in the store. He would share his impressive artwork with me and we would have some good chats. He was always a pleasant and upbeat man.
My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

I knew Dwayne for a number of years. When I retired he drew a picture of an eagle flying over the mountains, framed it and presented it to me, something I will treasure always. When Dwayne would look after his parents pets, usually every Sunday; Dwayne would always drop in if Dennis and I were outside working in the yard. We would then take a break, sit and cool down with large glasses of ice tea and spend a couple of hours chatting and visiting. Dwayne always offered to help give us a hand if we ever needed it. Dwayne would always tease Dennis, wondering if he was ever interested in parting with some of his tools. We will miss the visits with Dwayne. Our hearts are broken that he had to leave us so young. He will always be remember for kindness, contagious smile and big heart.

Dwayne, my cousin. You will be missed so much. So many wonderful memories of our childhood! Camping, family vacations, celebrations and Birthdays! Whenever I reminisce, you will hold a very special place in my heart.
Cousin
We've made a lot of memories
Throughout our childhood days.
No worries in this great big world,
All we did was play.
I knew you would have my back;
That I could count on you.
Even now since we've grown up,
I know that still is true.
I cant even remember
The first time I saw your face;
But I do know within my life
No one can take your place.
We're there for each other,
And we will be until the end
By blood we are cousins;
And by our hearts we're friends.
Love and Miss you Dwayne
Your Cousin Jenn

Dwayne, you were an inspiration to everyone who was lucky to have known you. You always had a way to find the beauty in everything. You had a big heart and a beautiful soul. You loved your family and friends so much. You always checked in to see how we were all doing. You were taken from us too soon with no chance to say good bye or see ya later. I wish we could have talked one more time. I would have told you how proud I was of you for so many reasons, and how grateful I am of you. I know you're with your dad, grandma Moore, grandma and grandpa and are looking over all of us now. You will be missed dearly but never forgotten.
Rest easy my cousin. I love you Dwayne.

It's something I never thought, not having you there. Since we were children, drawing Spiderman together, having sleep-overs at each-others houses. Your family became my family, your sister, mother, grandpa and grandma, and you my brother. I have nothing but amazing memories of us hanging out together, reading comics and watching cartoons and kung-fu movies. You got me started drawing and helped me find my love of art. Your home was my sanctuary and you were my rock. Thank you for sharing your light and spreading your love. You touched so many hearts with your kindness and through that, you will go on to live. I will miss you dearly my brother.

Condolences from myself, and all of the staff at Friendly Neighborhood Comic Shop.
The VERY first day I took over the Eye Opener Dwayne was in the store and we had an hour long conversation about comics. From that day forward I would see Dwayne on at least a weekly basis, and over the years we had many, MANY more long conversations about all aspects of life.
Dwayne wasn't a customer to me, he was a good friend, and someone I could always count on to randomly show up at the store and distract me from whatever miserable current event was going on with me. As cliche as it sounds; Dwayne had a good heart. A very big heart. And he helped guide me through some tough times in my life just by being himself.
I haven't seen Dwayne in months due to some store location switching thats going on, but man was I looking forward to him seeing the new place knowing how excited he would be, and all the catching up we would do. Actually, I still have comics in his file waiting for him...
Now though everything is a little less bright moving forward, and Dwayne leaves a big hole in my thoughts and my heart. I will miss him dearly.
Dwayne buddy, wherever you are I know your surrounded by comics, wrestlers, and millions of puppies.
Love and miss you already.

My dearest brother. My heart is breaking that you are no longer with us. It’s time for you to leave us and share your acceptance, kindness, generosity, and calmness in your new life. You have taught me to slow down and look at the beauty life has to offer. I am great full for the love and kindness you showed to myself, my husband, my kids and to Tazzie. For that, I will always be great full. I love you my brother.

I will miss you Uncle Dwayne. I will miss you and your knowledge of super hero movies and comic books. I always learned something new when we were around each other whether it be superhero related or just a random fact. You always thought about others first and often had our Christmas gifts picked out before my mom even started her Christmas shopping. I will never forget all of the holidays we spent together and the memories we’ve shared together. Love you Uncle Dwayne.
