Obituary of Nathan Froese
FROESE: It is with heavy hearts that the Froese family announces the passing of their 8-year-old son and brother, Nathan Edwin Froese. After a brave battle with a rare and devastating form of cancer, Nathan passed away peacefully on December 10, 2020 with family members by his side.
Always eager to get things going; Nathan showed up a couple of weeks early on August 20, 2012 at the Brandon Regional Hospital. Since then he was usually the first one out of bed, first to help with chores, first to the dinner table, and always the first person in the pool.
He attended pre-school and kindergarten at Kirkaldy school followed by grades 1-2 at Green Acres Elementary. His enthusiastic and caring personality earned him a place in the hearts of many students and staff members alike during his time there. Nathan even helped introduce his younger brother to school life when it was time for him to attend.
Nathan was a proud member of Scouts Canada and absolutely loved everything outdoors. Camping, canoeing, archery, or even simply doing yard work. He especially enjoyed spending time with all of his grandparents, whether it be at their cabin, target shooting, or picking rocks at Winnipeg Beach.
Nathan is survived by parents, Kim and Dan and brother, Thomas.

A private graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery. A celebration of Nathan’s life will be held at a later date when it is safe to gather.
