Jack and Betty owned the land on the corner of Saskatchewan Ave and Lyons Street in Headingley. They rented the land to the WHAM model airplane club from the late 90's until 2012, and we named the field the Jack Braun memorial field in his memory. Both Jack and Betty were superlative 'land lords' for WHAM, and allowed our club to prosper and grow throughout the years.
May Betty rest in peace knowing she always had our respect and admiration.
