Obituary of Louise Buckmire

BUCKMIRE: Marie “Louise” Buckmire passed away peacefully at her residence, Rideau Park Personal Care Home, on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the age of 73 years. Louise is survived by her sister Kathleen “Kal”, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Leona and Ross; brothers, Ronald, Wally and Eddy and sister, Marguerite. Louise loved going for car rides with her Dad and visiting her uncles’ store, “Buck’s Soda Fountain”. Louise loved country music especially Elvis, going to casinos with her special friend Brian, dancing, trips to Sandy Lake, roses and taking rides on the Greyhound. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church with Fr. John Okosun as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Louise may be made to Rideau Park Personal Care Home, 525 Victoria Ave. E., Brandon, MB, R7A 6S9.
