My deepest condolences to Heather, Ed, and family. Jaymee was a ray of sunshine in our Life Skills Suite at Neelin and we always appreciated her infectious grin. She was a tough cookie and depsite having many challenges, she met them head on with her bright eyes and big smile. Rest easy, Jaymee.

My first memory of Jaymee was watching her and Autumn scootin' around at the rehab clinic. They were so cute!!! Then I was lucky enough to work in Lifeskills at Riverheights and met her again there. My daughter Katie was a classmate of hers also. Jaymee always had a quick smile for everyone and sure noticed when a cute boy came in the room lol. I remember drawing a smiley face balloon and gave it to her and she just loved it! She loved listening to her lunchtime jams too with her friends. Here's a balloon for ya Jaymee! We are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. Fly with the angels.

I have known the Benson's 10+ years. I consider them family and have been lucky to be involved in their lives. I've always had a soft spot for their children, especially Jaymee and Autumn. They could always put a smile on my face. Over the years Ed and Heather entrusted me to watch over the kids when needed. Jaymee would always have a huge smile for me,even through some of her rough days and hardships. She was blessed with hard working parents and great siblings. She will be greatly missed and is an Angel looking over all of us. ❤️

These photos were taken last year when the pandemic hit and everyone had to stay home, luckily I got to talk to the girls online and took a couple snaps during the conversation. Jaymee was a beautiful soul who always smiled, even if she was in pain. She had a freckle on her forehead near her hairline which I called her smile button, and every time I pushed it a great big grin would light up her beautiful face. I will miss that smile. Huge hugs to Autumn, Heather and family
