Obituary of Eugene Talbot

TALBOT: Eugene N. Talbot Eugene N. Talbot of Creighton, Saskatchewan, aged 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.

He was born in Manitou, Manitoba, to Robert Talbot and Antoinette Bugera and was the second oldest of seven children. Eugene had a larger than life personality with a tough exterior and yet a compassionate heart. He cared deeply for his friends and was devoted to his family with the utmost love, often going over and above when aiding others. His breadth of knowledge and talent with his hands to build or repair in the fields of carpentry, mechanics, electricity, plumbing, and so forth was unmatched because of his great work ethic and propensity to problem solve. So varied were his skills that he was an accomplished fisherman, hunter, gardener, baker, and cook. Many friends and family recall his outstanding and generous steak suppers.

Eugene was predeceased by his father Robert Talbot. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marietta; son, Aaron and his wife Melisa; son, Chris and his wife Joy; three grandsons, Riley, Khail and Lucas; two granddaughters, Fynnley and Autumn; mother, Antoinette Bugera; siblings, Jacqueline Braun, Carole Talbot, Armand Talbot, Daniel Talbot, Janet Mailhot and Patrick Talbot.

A memorial service will be held in Creighton, Saskatchewan, sometime in August 2021, depending on travel restrictions.
