To the entire Thompson Family. Our deepest condolences to all Gordon’s family. I was shocked to hear that “Gordo” had passed away. I remember many trips I had with Gordon while I worked with him on the CPR. His wit and laughter made those midnight trips enjoyable and time always flew by during the runs. Those talks over for a coffee and a piece of pie was always a must. Just to let you all know our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. What a surprise to see that Gordie had passed. Just a few weeks ago we had a great visit with him at the park. Where he was sitting in his power chair watching the kids play basketball. He and Gerry reminisced about some of the train trips they'd been on together. We talked for about an hour and the two of them were cracking up laughing. Just like they did every time we saw him. Shannon and Trever and Bill and Thea we send our deepest condolences. Gordie was a great guy and a pleasure to work with all those years ago. We'll miss seeing him zip by on that scooter of his. Sorry for your loss Thompson family. I met Gordon over 50 years ago baling hay with my uncle Ken Beever on your farm. I talked with him occasionally over the years but got to see him more as our grandsons played on the same ball and hockey teams. He was always easy to talk to with a smile on his face and a story to tell. He will be missed

How saddened we were to hear of the passing of Gordon. He was such a sweet, generous, wonderfully kind man. Always had time for us and genuinely cared. We have nothing but respect for him.
