Obituary of William Mazawasicuna

MAZAWASICUNA: William Nield Mazawasicuna. March 17, 1958 - August 6, 2021.

William will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Laureen (Barry); brother, Kerry; niece, Charlene; nephews, Anthony, Caleb, Robin and Shane as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his parents, Vernon and Gladys; sisters, Phyllis, Ethel and Elaine and brothers, Edgar, Bernard and Darcy. A Funeral Service will be held at the Charlene Mazawasicuna residience, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Sioux Valley Anglican Cemetery.

The family would like to acknowledge the doctors and nurses at Brandon General Hospital “ICU” for their kindness during our time of sorrow. 

Billy will be greatly missed...especially his humour.
