CAMPBELL:  Ethel Delina passed peacefully at her residence, Fairview Personal Care Home in her 99th year. Born Ethel Hamilton on June 14, 1923 in the Cameron, MB district. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Edna Hamilton; her husband, Allen in 1999; daughter, Mildred (Millie) in 1974; grandson, Jeffrey and great grandson, Shawn Morgan. She was also predeceased by all her 6 siblings. She leaves to treasure her memory her children: Edith (Wayne) Wilson of Brandon, MB, Ron Campbell of Edmonton, AB, Ken (Edna) Campbell of Okotoks, AB, Sheila (Brian) Karnes of Biggar, SK, Irene (Ron) Clark of Brandon, MB and Karen (Kevin) Thompson of Kelowna, BC. She leaves 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren. Also left to mourn her passing is daughter-in-law, Wanda Campbell and son-in-law, Tom Jones and many nieces and nephews. Raised on a farm, Ethel married Allen Campbell in 1946 and they farmed in the Birnie District, MB while raising their family and were married for 53 years before Allen's death. Fiercely independent, Ethel lived in her own apartment until about 6 weeks before her passing. Ethel was very family oriented and will be sadly missed by all her large family group and friends. A Celebration of Ethel’s Life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332 8th St., Brandon, MB on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be six of her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ethel may be made to Westman Dreams for Kids Foundation, 404 18th Street North, Brandon, MB, R7A 7P3.
