So very sad to hear of your mothers passing. She was a strong, beautiful and devoted mother. Our families were close
neighbors growing up and we will never forget the 'wildhood' of our youth and always the patience and acceptance of
June as a mother. She seemed to be cool on all fronts and saw the humor in the shenanigans!!
Great memories of June, Frenchie and 'the Gallant kids'!
Love,
Mary Lynne Whiteford Bruce

We are sad to hear of the death of June Gallant, faithful parishioner of St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church. She was a wonderful lady, a great Pro Life witness and served well as president of the Manitoba League for Life for a few years. She was a devout catholic as was her husband, Francis, who predeceased her in October of 1989. They were great parents to seven children who they loved dearly and were very proud of. They leave behind 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was a talented lady and beautiful organist in the church and personal care homes. She emailed politicians reminding them of their duty as she saw fit. She liked to knit and cook and she was a good friend to many, especially her own family, and to our family as we appreciated her wisdom, kindness and many talents.
A good mentor, a good role model, a life well lived.
Rest in Peace, June.
