Obituary of Wayne Baker

BAKER: It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Wayne Baker, of Brandon, MB on Sunday, August 21, 2022, just 6 days shy of 76 years of age. Wayne will be forever missed by his wife and soulmate of 31 years, Judy; children: Allison (Joshua) Martinez; Cory (Jennifer) Pratt; Jill (Brad) Giesbrecht and son-in-law, John Karasz; grandchildren: Adam Pratt, Kylee Pratt, Charissa (Ian) Hiebert, Cherise Baker, Madison Lelonde, Will Giesbrecht, Nick Giesbrecht and great-grandsons: Aaron, Ben, and Levi Hiebert, plus several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Shelly; and brothers, Robert and Larry. In accordance with Wayne's wishes, a private family service will be held in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, 825 Sherbrook St. Room 204, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5.
