Obituary of Jennifer Dawn Doucette
Jennifer Dawn Doucette
January 22, 1992 - January 4, 2023
It is with the most heavy heart that we announce the passing of Jennifer. Jennifer passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 4th, 2023 at the Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon Manitoba with friends and loved ones by her side. Jennifer will be remembered for her infectious laugh that made everyone else around laugh whether you wanted to or not, Jenn was so naturally quick-witted, no one could come back with a sarcastic comment as fast as she could. Jennifer lived for and loved her Nephews more than anything. She called them her collection of nephews and was always showing them off to everyone around her even though she lived far away, she would face-time and call them every day. Jennifer also worked at Douglas Elementary School, she absolutely loved the kids there and was always telling stories about the kids. In addition to being one of the most social butterflies to ever exist, Jennifer also loved animals and was always trying to rescue them if she thought they needed a loving home.
Jennifer was the type of person who was always trying to help those in need and gave her love and support to anyone who needed it. She would have given the shirt off her back if she thought it would help a person out. She was brave, kind and giving and I don’t think you could find a more beautiful spirit than hers. The way she could light up a room was amazing. She touched so many lives and she will be greatly missed by anyone who got to know her. Jennifer was one of the most loving sisters and daughters anyone could ask for. She was always trying to give the best advice she could, always trying to help in any way she could and no one called us on our stuff quite like she could or would.
Jennifer leaves behind her Father Shawn (Theresa) Doucette, 3 sisters Victoria (Jeremy) Keeping, Jessica (Robert)MacKay, Shawna (Riley) Doucette, Brother Alex Hovey,
4 nephews William, Dominic, Phoenix, and George. She also leaves behind Grandmother Gladys Crosby, BoyFriend Brandon Norris and her animals Zeke, Kane, Emmy, and Malifancet. 2 nieces Julia and Autumn, 2 honorary nephews Tristan and Ronan were given to her by Keely Mackay, As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jennifer is predeceased by her mother Velda Doucette(Crosby), sister Stephanie Doucette, Grandfather John(Jack) Crosby, Grandfather Loran Doucette, Grandmother Helen Doucette and Uncle Chucky Crosby.
Jennifer is now with her mother, sister and all other family members telling them stories of what has been happening since they left. That was one of the things she loved most to do: tell stories and laugh about all the silly memories. Jennifer This is not goodbye, it's see you later.
