Obituary of Bobbi Day

DAY: Roberta “Bobbi” Day passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at Fairview Personal Care Home in Brandon, MB at the age of 84 years.

Bobbi was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB.  She met and married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Day, and, as a young bride, moved to their house on Taylor Avenue in The Pas where they raised their family and created many happy memories over their 59 years of marriage.

Bobbi enjoyed her career as a librarian, first at the high school then later at The Pas Public Library.  Following her retirement, she and Bob had more time to spend with all of their grandchildren and with their many friends, both near and far. They loved to travel and looked forward to reconnecting each year with people they met during their travels.

Bobbi was predeceased by Bob in January, 2019.  She will be lovingly remembered by children: Donna (Doug) and Gordon (Kim), eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a private celebration of life in The Pas in the spring of 2023, at which time Mom and Dad’s ashes will be taken home together.

You will be missed, Mom, but we are comforted knowing that you are finally with Dad again.
