Obituary of Chester Easter

Chester Riley Easter, 56 years old, of Brandon, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on March 18, 2023.

Chester was born on February 9, 1967 to Riley and Vivian Easter in The Pas, Manitoba. Chester was self-taught in the carpentry industry. He enjoyed working on renovation projects with his brother Bruce.

Chester had many friends and was noted as a kind, generous person. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends in Brandon, Manitoba.

Chester was predeceased by his father, Riley Easter; son, Terence Mink; brothers, Leslie and Elmer; nephews, Elmer, Mathew Benjamin,  Leslie (Sonny) and Trevor, grandparents, Donald and Jane Easter and William and Christine Beardy. Chester is survived by his daughter, Tannis Mink; stepson, Ozzie Mink; mother, Vivian Easter; brothers, Rick and Bruce (Val) Easter; sisters, Jennie (Walter) Wastesicoot, Kathleen (Kai) Koopmann, Christina (Annie) Easter, Doreen (Bill) Knight, Marie (Jamie) Benjamin, Madeline Easter and Elizabeth Easter.

Services will be held at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home as follows.

Viewing will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 with departure from Brockie Donovan at 2:30 p.m.
