Obituary of Justin Roland Brett Chief

"Floating Feather"

Justin suddenly passed away at Regina General Hospital on April 14, 2023 at the age of 40. He is survived by his wife Leanne and children, Jean, Aiden, Cameron, Jace, Lucas, Sadie and his stepchildren Asia, Samara, Logan and Dominique. Leaves to mourn are his siblings, James, Rox (Greg), Warren (Marlene) and Marcy. Predeceased by his mother Bertha Chief, his father Gordon Chief Sr., brother Gordon Chief Jr., and sisters Fern Leslie and Nicole Chief. A service and settings will take place at Sioux Valley Veteran’s Hall on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 with departure from Brockie Donovan at 9:15am. Following services at Sioux Valley, a traditional wake will take place at Little Black Bear First Nation, SK with burial at Little Black Bear Cemetery. Honoured to be pallbearers are, Garth Blacksmith, Tyrone Blacksmith, Angelo Blacksmith, Mark Blacksmith, Shane Hotain, Sterling Hotain, and Greg Bone.
