Dear Lindsay family: My deepest condolences on the loss of your husband and father. I first met Dr Lindsay during my clerkship. He was in fact my first clinical teacher. How clearly I recall his kindness, patience, and sense of humour. Later as a colleague in Brandon I valued his sound clinical judgment and professional friendship. To the Lindsay Family:
During 30-plus years of a doctor/patient relationship, Dr. Lindsay provided dedication, care, compassion and humor like no other. I was sorry to see him leave the Western Medical Clinic, but I consider myself very fortunate to have had him as my physician all those years.

Our deepest sympathies to Jan, Dawn, Jennifer, Kristina and families, Sean, Nancy and families on the loss of a Dear Husband, Father, Grandfather. He loved his family so much and spending time with them making memories was a priority! I always looked up to my Dear Cousin as he accomplished so much in his lifetime, in his education and career as well as his leisure time activities! He lived life to the fullest! I’m so glad we had such a great visit in April, even though he was in the Hospital we reminisced and he talked about his condition never complaining, saying the only good thing about it is having time to talk to loved ones and say goodbye. We said I love you Cuz and hugged, now rest in peace Gary, we will remember you always

Our sincere condolences to the entire family. Even when a death is expected, there is no way to really prepare. I remember fondly many times with Gary, going back to when we were kids, and later at reunions and the time he and Jan invited our family to the cottage and our son, Keenan, swam in the lake. I am grateful that I was able to talk with Gary on a couple of occasions over the last few months. He still had a great sense of humour and an awareness of the world he would soon be leaving. I wish we had had more time to visit and talk, but that's the way it always seems to be. He will be hugely missed. Again, our thoughts are with the entire family - Trevor Harrison and Terri Saunders

What a beautiful difference one single life made! My deepest sympathy! I had the pleasure of working at the hospital with Dr.Lindsay and I can honestly tell you he was one of our favourite doctors!❤️So kind compassionate such a beautiful caring man! With always a smile he cared for his patients with great concern and was excellent towards the staff! His health struggles were long and everyone cheered him on over the years! Dr. Lindsay was not just a doctor. He made sure you knew he cared about you as a person. He was my physician for many years and eventhough I was sad to lose him as a physician, I was happy to hear how he was enjoying life. We ran into each other camping in Minnedosa. I wanted to talk more but my dog would not quit barking as Gary had his 2 schnauzers with him. I wish we had run into each other again. Condolences to all his family. We have truly lost an amazing soul
