Pam, Duane, and Laurie:
I have the fondest memories of our summers together as young cousins, and your Mom (Aunt Joan) was always the leader ensuring we had countless memories. To this day, I recall those summers as well as the times we visited Leaf Rapids, and frankly, the trouble we got ourselves into! Aunt Joan undoubtedly was a favorite of mine!
Our sincerest condolences and we wish you many fond memories.
Love you!
Nephew, Tyler Hauber and family, Karen, Kaison and Macy.

Very sorry to learn of the death of Joan Britton. While I was pastor at St. Augustine's Parish in Brandon, Joan helped me on numerous occasions with the music. She even drove with me to Souris and played the organ at a funeral once or maybe even twice. Often on Fridays she would play the piano at Benediction. She was a kind soul and may she now enter the presence of Jesus, her Saviour. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her, with the saints forever. Amen.

Pam, Duane and Laurie, sincerest of condolences on the passing your mom. During the Leaf Rapids days of the mid-late 70’s, I spent a lot of time with Mike growing up. We were best of friends and during my frequent sleep overs, Mike and I would often carry out raids on your moms frozen cookie containers. Oh what delights we would carry off for our mid night snacks. It’s where my love affair with Peanut Butter Cake began….What awesome delights she could prepare!! I recall a very kind, decent and patient lady in spite of the antics of Mike and I. Wishing you all peace and strength in the days ahead.

Pam, Laurie and Family. I was very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother Joan.
She gave it a good run, keeping you on your toes I’m sure. I always enjoyed sharing a few words whenever our paths crossed, whether at church or out shopping. She was feisty and determined, qualities I’m know she passed on to you. Accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. She will be missed.

Condolences to Joan's family. Long time Leaf Rapids friend and neighbour. Since leaving Leaf we have corresponded every Christmas - keeping each other updated on our families. I will miss those letters. A hard worker, a good mother and grandmother - just an all around nice lady. RIP Joan

Very sorry for your loss.
My Mom (Lorna Aimoe) and Joan were very good friends at Victoria Landing. I remember the two of them getting into trouble during Covid because they got caught sneaking to each other’s rooms to play crib.
Joan was a very kind woman and we all got to know her as well.

Thank you Ramona . Mom and Lorna were like two peas in a pod. They enjoyed each other’s company and were great companions through out the Covid lockdowns. It was always comforting, knowing they had each other. When your mom passed away a little piece of Joan was lost with her. Lorna’s friendship was very special to mom.

Pamela, Duane, Laurie and families:
I got to know your mom well when she lived in Victoria Landing as my mom Lorna Aimoe lived there as well. Mom and Joan spent many days playing Crib and getting into mischief when they were locked down during covid. They would go to each others apartments under the guise of praying but played cards instead. When they were caught they were told they could do their praying in the chapel. We were so happy your mom was quarantined with ours as they kept each other company and less lonely when we couldn't be with them. It is so hard to loose our moms but there is no doubt that they will be happy to see each other once again.
My deepest sympathies. Jocelyn Aimoe

Thank you Jocelyn. Those two girls had a way of finding mischief without even looking. They kept each other company during the terrible Covid lockdown when we couldn’t come in to see them . Nothing they wouldn’t do for a game of crib. We are very fortunate. They found each other at Victoria Landing, and their friendship grew strong . I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re already pulling out the deck of cards.! Take care
