My sincere condolences to the Elliott family in your loss of Iain, or Skipper as was his chosen nickname for our Venturer company (Scouts Canada) members. He led our collection of teenagers on a mountain hike near Banff, with a continuous echo of "It's only Pain" to remind us all of the realities of life - somewhat different than his usual doctor bedside manner. Many great memories were made. I trust that your family will have lots of great memories to help ease your loss of a great man who meant so many things to so many people. Rest in Peace Skipper. Dr. Elliott was my Dr. In Virden in 1968 when I was diagnosed with type 1 or insulin depended diabetes. Many things have changed in treatment of this condition. I continue to be great full for his guidance during those difficult early years. We both are great full for his assistance in the arrival of our children, today parents do not have a family Dr. that covers alll areas of life, my he rest in peace,
