Eric Jerry Joseph Lepine
February 12, 1995 to November 15, 2023
Eric passed away on November 15, 2023 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB following a violent attack on November 13, 2023. He fought with everything he had. Eric was so many things. A loving father to Jaxx and Regalia, a fiercely loyal son, brother, cousin and a great friend to many. Eric also dedicated a lot of time to harm reduction programs in Brandon, being a member of Brandon’s Harm Reduction Network Peer Advisory Council and SERC’s Project Love Team. With this work, Eric changed and personally saved so many lives in the community.
Eric was born and raised in Brandon. He will be lovingly remembered by mom Bobbi Jo Lepine, dad Dean Johnson, grandmother Marlene Lepine, siblings James, Christopher, Austin and Faith Lepine, and children Jaxx Clayton Cash Lepine and Regalia Paylean Williams. Eric was predeceased by his uncle Gordie Lepine, aunt Bonnie Lepine and grandfather Jerry Goodon. A Celebration of Eric’s life will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Eric may be made to the Manitoba Harm Reduction Network, 206-83 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B2.
