Obituary of Dakota Chief

Dakota Elliott Logan Chief passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the age of 25 years. Dakota will be lovingly remembered by his mother Marcy Chief (Terence), siblings, nieces and nephews. 

A Traditional Wake will be held on Monday March 11, 2024 at the Sioux Valley Veteran's Hall, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, with departure from Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332-8th Street, Brandon, Manitoba at 3:30pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at the Sioux Valley Anglican Cemetery.
