To Brian, Kathy and Trish and family, So sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I have fond memories of both your parents visiting us while growing up in Brandon. I particularly remember the time that John and Orm set about making wine in the basement - lots of laughs as they were surprised about how many grapes they needed to squish for the job! Also remember getting lots of interesting phone calls from John as he liked to keep in touch with the family. I was fortunate to go out for coffee or breakfast with John on the occasions when I was back in Brandon. He was always up for a visit! Condolences Dick family. Brad, Judy Cody and Brett

Mr. John s we always called him, was a wonderful neighbour! He always had a smile & " Hello !" when he saw us. He would tell us the most wonderful stories of his life. We missed him so much when he sold his home across the street on 25th. Our condolences to his family !! You had a wonderful man for a father ! Garnet & Wendy Boyd

To Brian, Kathy and Trish and families. Ellen and I were very saddened to hear the passing of your father. I will always have fond memories of your dad. He was a down to earth and hardworking man, and was so proud of his kids. A lover of farming and enjoyed talking about his "North 40". Many memories of the weekends at Killarney and the chats with your dad at the house on 25th. Johnny and Jessie were wonderful friends to my dad and mum. Our hearts are with you. Jim and Ellen Carter
