My deepest condolences to Barb, Rob, Toula and Manny. Steve was definitely a wonderful man and someone we all looked up to over the years. I used to love coming home and stopping in to Astoria to see you all. This of course was after years of being apart of the Trifon’s family both in Shilo and Brandon. Sending my love to you all.

Although I am not there today, I am thinking of you all and will celebrate the memories of the times I shared with your father and husband. I will always remember how meaningful it was to have praise from him, his attention was something to be treasured. Of course all his looks were priceless and unforgettable, as was his style and swagger. He was proud of who he was and what he created in his career and in his family. The best lives in all of you.

My Dad was a man like no other. He gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, held me when I cried. Shouted at me when I deserved it. Kissed and hugged me all the time. But most importantly he LOVED ME unconditionally, and made sure I always knew and felt it. There are not enough words I can say to describe just how important my dad was to me, and what a powerful influence he continues to be.... Not only to me but to our family, our friends and employees that loved him dearly. My dad was an inspiration, he treated everyone with respect and like his own family. My dad had a heart of gold, and loved to share so many jokes and stories with all.
Dad, thank you for always being there for me, you will always be the first man I ever loved, the first hand I ever held, and my one and only dad. I know I didn't always say it, but you were absolutely amazing and I am so lucky to have had you as my father. I LOVE YOU DAD. Please watch over us and visit us in our dreams. We miss you like crazy and we will take your memory with us with every new memory we make. Love always your daughter Toula (Buber) xox

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Steve. Steve wasn't just a boss to me; he was a mentor, a friend, and a second father figure. We shared countless moments together, working side by side, and enjoyed many great laughs. I fondly remember us sharing TV series and movies, and exchanging stories that enriched my life in more ways than I can express.
Steve had an unparalleled gift for storytelling and a fantastic sense of humor; his wittiness never failed to brighten even the toughest days. Beyond his humor, he was a generous man of integrity, and his love for his family was evident to all. He treated everyone with compassion and respect, imparting valuable lessons on navigating both the professional and personal spheres gracefully.
I am forever grateful for the time I spent alongside Steve, learning from his wisdom, work ethic, and commitment to treating people the right way. He is truly one of the best guys I've ever known, one of my all-time favorite people. I'm sure that he made that same lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
To Barb, Robb, Toula, Man, and family,
Steve's enduring spirit and his profound impact on us all will continue to live on. May the warmth of your shared memories provide solace and strength to each of you in the days ahead. You are in my thoughts, and my heartfelt condolences go out to each of you during this difficult time.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Rick

So very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I so very much enjoyed working at Triffons in Brandon. Steve was a great boss and a wonderful human. New Year's Greek celebration at the restaurant taught me to truly enjoy culinary flavors of Greece. There are many stories I remember from those years but I remember Steve's compassion and passion for people.
Condolences to you all and I am thinking of you.

Barb and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Steve was an amazing person and the BEST boss I ever had. I had the great fortune to tell him that a few years ago. I have many joyful, wonderful memories from the years spent working at Trifon's Pizza in the late 70's, early 80's. Steve made a lasting, positive impact in my life and in the lives of many.
