Dear Family Brown, Our heartfelt condolences with the passing of dear Angie Brown. She was a special lady with a wide range of interests. In 1982 we emigrated from the Netherlands to Lethbridge, Angie and Ron became our neighbours, better said our instant friends. They helped us in a great way to adapt to our new Canadian lifestyle. We have lots of great memories on our Brandon time with the Browns. Ron & Angie, two very special persons who stood by us, as only real friends do. For us they were the people you never will forget, Sincerely, Puck & Chris Biesheuvel. Lethbridge Alberta.

Thank you so much for those kind words Puck and Chris. I was out of the house when you guys moved in next door so I really didn't have chance to get to know you. I do know that both mom and dad spoke of you guys with great regard. Mom and dad are together again with their beloved little dog Bijou at their side.

To Angie’s family. I had the good fortune of getting to know Angie when I delivered the RCMP Christmas Cakes at Christmas time. I looked forward to my visit with her as we always had a laugh or two or three and I loved hearing her stories of being a young RCMP member’s in the “good old days”! What a wonderful lady. To all of Angie Brown’s family: My husband Ian & I had a very soft spot on our hearts for Angie. Each time we visited Brandon we would try and get in to see her. She was a lovely lady and we so enjoyed our visits. Ian passed June 2024 so maybe he and Angie have found each other again. My sincere condolences to all the family. Shirley Brownlee

We extend our sincere condolences to Angie’s family. Your Mom was such a fun lady to be around and had such a wonderful sense of humour. Our Mom was in Sokol for a few years and we spent many Tuesday evenings playing cribbage with the two of them! On our Mom’s passing your Mom sent a bouquet of flowers with a 29 in it! We kept that 29 and it is on our mantel. Think of your Mom every time we look at it! She touched our hearts! Beautiful lady! Bob & Pat Gouldie

Thank you so much for those kind words Bob and Pat. Many a day, at our house on McDermid Dr and even more so at the cottage, I'd awake to loud talk and swearing. I'd get up to see what the heck was going on. Just dad losing cribbage to mom, again. They would keep a running total of wins at a penny a point. Every once in a while I'd look at that ledger and dad owed $20 sometimes $30 bucks. Of course he'd never pay, the ledge would just go missing one day.
