Dear Stothard family, Bill had a profound positive influence in my mechanic career, in the early 70's, at Canadian Tire. He took me under his wing and had a lot of patience.
As our paths drifted apart in later life, it was always a great pleasure to meet Mr and Mrs, always together, at our downtown car shows. I knew he struggled to walk longer distances, but he never let that slow him down. He knew lots of folks down there, and they were happy to see him. I know I sure was.
Please accept my most sincere condolences, during this tragic time.
