Obituary of Rosemary Tutkaluk

Rosemary Lynn Tutkaluk

Rosemary Tutkaluk passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 66 years. Rosemary was born on December 1, 1957 in Brandon, MB. She graduated from the Brandon School of Nursing in 1977, and worked as a nurse at the Brandon General Hospital for over 40 years. In her spare time Rosemary enjoyed gardening, caring for her furry children, decorating her home, tackling building projects, music and drawing. Rosemary will be lovingly remembered by her mother Rose Tutkaluk; sisters Darlene (Jim), Lorraine (Larry), and Luanne (Jean Paul); nieces, Tina (David), Kerri (Tyler), Kim (Matt). She was predeceased by her father Michael Phillip Tutkaluk in 2010. As per Rosemary’s request, no funeral service will be held. Donations in memory of Rosemary may be made to Funds for Furry Friends, 740 Rosser Ave Suite 208, Brandon, MB R7A 0K9 or to Before the Bridge Senior K9 Rescue, Box 11, Stony Mountain, MB, R0C 3A0.

Rosemary was my best friend. I will miss her and our daily email chatter. She was so brave. I would like to thank her friends Stephanie, Linda and Jody for being there for her and me. They were her giggle friends. Rosemary loved working with them and sharing her stories with them. Thank you very much….it meant a lot to Rosemary and me.

Rosemary was a very strong and determined person, and I really admired her for that. It takes a very brave person to go through what she did.  Rest in peace my dear sister.
