Obituary of Thelma Fisher

FISHER: Thelma Ruth Fisher (nee Warwick) passed away at the Killarney Hospital on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at 79 years of age. Thelma was born one of four children to Cliff and Mary Warwick on June 4, 1944 at Napinka, Manitoba. Thelma completed her schooling at Napinka and went on to The Vocational Training Centre in Brandon. Upon graduation in 1965 she worked at Assiniboine College, Hood Automotive and also worked in Lethbridge for a time. Upon arrival home from Lethbridge, Thelma met Dana and was later married on February 7, 1970 in Napinka. She lived in the Nesbitt area with her husband Dana all of her married life. Thelma was a meticulous bookkeeper, and with her training, she kept the Fisher Brothers books organized for many years. She was a talented seamstress, a voracious reader, a wonderful artist and loved riding horseback with her mother-in-law Marg. After she lost Dana in 2023 she moved to an apartment in Killarney to be closer to her sister June. Always remembered, Thelma leaves to mourn her passing, her loving sister and best friend June Clark of Killarney, her good friend and brother-in-law Malcolm Campbell of Nesbitt, brother-in-law Mark Fisher and wife Linda of Nesbitt, her niece Carmen Fisher of Brandon who will always remember her as Selmo, her nephew Perry Fisher that always had her laughing, his wife Tara, great nephew Parker and great niece Kate of Nesbitt. Thelma was predeceased by her husband Dana, her parents Cliff and Mary Warwick, brother Ralph Warwick, sister Leona Campbell and brother-in-law Dick Clark. There will be a private family grave side memorial for Thelma at a later date at Minnewawa Cemetery.
