Obituary of Gordon Paziuk
Gordon Paziuk passed away suddenly, at home on Monday, June 24, 2024 at the age of 57 years.
Gord (aka Beagle) was born on January 30, 1967 in Brandon, Manitoba. Gordie attended Meadows School, Vincent Massey Collegiate and Brandon University. He enjoyed playing ball and hockey in his youth and later hockey in the old timers league. His lifelong love however was golf. No day was better than one that involved playing golf with his friends.
Gord loved animals, and earned the nickname name Beagle when he was always accompanied by his beagle named Charlie. The last twelve years he had two cats Winnie and Pooh who he loved with all his heart. Up, until the time of his passing, he donated food and litter to the Shilo Pet Network and transported animals in need of veterinary care.
Gord began his work life doing high voltage construction alongside his dad Bob. When Bob retired Gord bought Grand Valley Construction which he operated up to the time of his death. He enjoyed his work and especially the people he met.
Gord and Kara- Lynne Radics were married in December, 1999. They enjoyed twenty five happy years together.
They took many holidays together to various parts of Canada and the US. They enjoyed cruising to the Caribbean, Europe and a six day crossing of the Atlantic Ocean. The last few years they holidayed for a couple of months every winter in Palm Springs, California. Gord loved to have his friends visit there where they would golf every day.
Gord was predeceased by his mother Margaret, father Robert (Bob) and sister-in-law Betty Jean. He leaves to mourn his wife Kara- Lynne, his sister Patti (Leigh) McFarlane, brother Billie(Joanne) Paziuk, mother and father-in-law Larry and Jo-Anne Radics, brother-in-law Derek (Miranda) Radics numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
The Celebration of Gord’s life will take place at Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, 332 8th Street, Brandon, on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

Gord was a big man with an even bigger heart. He was a generous, caring man that will be missed by all that knew him.
