Condolences to the Robins family.
I also have great memories of Mrs. Robins. I was lucky enough to be in her class twice, grade 4 and 6. Great teacher and influence.
I'll never forget the day President Kennedy was assassinated, she stopped the regular class and we listened on the radio, she helped us all get through that day.
At the end of school year we went to a farm and had a wiener roast, and she taught us how to play cricket in the pasture. Great fun.
Sincerely
Howard Spearin

Robins family,
I also have fond memories of Arlene Robins. I had Miss Johnson as my Grade 3 teacher in Rivers. I remember well her reading us a few chapters every day after lunch. We were introduced to the Anne of Green Gables series and Jean Val Jean to name a few. I then had her as a teacher again in Grade six as Mrs Robins.
My condolences to the family, a wonderful lady.

I have some beautiful memories of your mom. My parents babysat for Clayton, Kimmie and Kyle. We lived 1 mile out of Rivers near the dam site. My parents were Frank and Phyllis Giesinger. I remember when dad took up jogging Clayton an and Kimmie loved to go along with him, it didn’t matter to dad that the children slowed his “jugging” down as the kids called it. He loved the kids and always came home with stories and a big smile. Clayton was 5. Kimmy 3, Kyle 2. A busy household as I had 5 siblings. Another time Mrs. Robins needed a dress altered for a Christmas party. She asked me to take it in because she was so slim. I was 13 and so proud she trusted me to do it. It was always fun to see her when she would pick up the children after school . Beautiful mom beautiful memories. Debbie (Giesinger) Klassen La Ronge Sk
