Our sincerest condolences to Bev, Andrew,Jack and Janie, Marion, Irsa, Bill and Wyatt.
I first met Iris when she came to Australia to visit Bev and family. A very friendly, open and curious lady who loved being with her Aussie family. A loved and loving mother, mother in law and grandmother. Cooking with Janie and Bev and talking about the farm with Jack and Andrew were special times for her.

I have such fond memories of Iris Cross - she was our first ever teacher for our eldest daughter at Oak Lake School, and she was such a kind dear schoolteacher. Then she retired and our other girls never had the pleasure of being in her classroom. Then I got to know Iris better through the arts and school work division of the Agricultural Fair as she was on our committee for years. Always a cheerful enthusiastic member :) Also ran into her at the Farmers Market in virden in later years, selling her garden produce, always so impressed that she kept up with so many things. She will be missed. Our sympathy to her family.
