John was a kind soul with a quirky sense humor. I got a chance to watch him record a Christmas concert. I remember a conversation he and I had about "healthy food" at Tim Hortons of all places. He was humorous, handsome and handy with camera equipment. I was John's momentary camera man's assistant. I basically watched him sleep through a Christmas pageant. Priceless. I will miss him. Condolences to the family and friends.
