I just heard about his sudden passing .... Condolences to the whole family.
He was a great person, could be stubborn but loved to talk about his kids,
his adventures and his home town. He will be missed.

Terry was born in Glace Bay on May 27, 1947, one day before my 5th birthday. I remember the brown house on Union Street and the house on James Street which was purchased by my parents when my cousins and Aunt Molly and Uncle Roy moved back to England. Another member of the family was their giant of a dog named Growler who lived up to his name when strangers came around.
I remember when he and Brian moved back to Canada and had a stop-over in New York. US Customs had a heck of a time with the British man with the Canadian accent and the Cape Breton boy with his very pronounced British accent.
Met up with the Mac Donald' s some years later when I was stationed in Portage La Prairie just down the highway from Rapid City. Numerous visits ensued.
Theresa and I, along with our children Neal and Alana, send our deepest condolences to the entire Mac Donald clan.

Terry's presence in Rapid City was unmistakeable. His delightful accent and sense of humour could light up any conversation. His pride in his children was always apparent, as he spoke of them often. He will be missed!
