As we get older we lose contact with good friends and family. Only today (Feb 5/19) I found out that my favorite cousin and one time best friend passed away. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Leslie and family. I remember so well taking that photo of Brent sitting on the trunk of my 59 Chevy. My memory may fail me but I think he and I and another friend were camping in Minnesota somewhere when that was taken. Shelly is so right with her recollection of her big brother Brent. His heart was as big as he was and was a true and kind man.

Lesley and family, please accept my sincerest condolences. Brent was always so thankful for any help we gave him at Rideau. I used to enjoy our chats about our favourite Western's...'Shane' always brought a smile to his face. He will be missed.

Brent was my second oldest brother and one of my favourite siblings, Chuck as we called him ... loved to eat especially treats peanut butter was his favourite. When I was a kid I used to bug him everyday to shine his shoes so I could get 25 cents so I go across the street and buy a pop n peanuts I was such a bug he nick named me moocher. Brent had a big heart as growing up a part of a big family we never had some of the luxuries others had so Brent used to spend some of his hard earned money taking my younger sister and I to movies roller skating and treating us to Pizza Hut etc. going blind didn't stop him he used to play pool in our basement we just had to put our finger where the hole was had many laughs. I only remember one time he got mad at me ... when I turned his flame up on his lighter and he burned his nose hairs trying to light his smoke before he quit. Love you bro ... til we meet again ... Shelley
