Dear Caryn, Don, Loretta, Clinton and Erin. My heart aches for all of you with the loss of Bryce. My memory of Bryce stretches back to when we was just a little guy in grade one. He was always one of those kids that could put a smile on my face darn near every day. He was always the happy one and one of the first to want to help. I lost track of Bryce as he grew into a man but he never seemed to have changed. It was Bryce who was the one to help me clear the bar and the parking lot at the end of a night at Party in the Parkinglot. The wonderful memories that you will have will stay in your heart forever. I remember my first week of high school; all ~200 students sitting in the gym for first gym riot of the year. Bryce got called up to participate in a game of some sort and on his way up accidentally stepped on me. As a scared freshman, I didn't really know what to do and felt embarrassed that I'd gotten in the way of a big grade 12 kid. Bryce looked back at me and with a big goofy grin just said, "Sorry!" And went on to complete some silly task. It might not seem like much, but it was one of my first high school interactions and I was SO nervous. With such a small gesture, Bryce, unknowingly, helped put me at ease. That memory has always stuck with me.
A happy go lucky guy to say the least.
Gone far too young and the world shines a little less these days. My deepest sympathies to Bryce's family members, friends, and everyone whose life he touched.
