Ward, Glen and families,
Believe it or not I will be in Toronto watching my youngest daughter's dance program as you are celebrating your mom's wonderful life.
Even from an early age growing up on 21st Street I looked forward to greeting your mom as I knocked on your door looking for you guys. She was just so warm and kind. I never saw her without a smile on her face. She always seemed so happy and joyful.
When Mike and I screwed up as young boys often did and big intimidating John took us to task Audrey was always there to soften the blow. What a great couple of parents they seemed.
We offer our condolences and hopefully can get together soon.
Dwight, Linda, Ginger, Lacey and Raine Kearns.

Mrs Hanlon was a wonderful lady who always made me feel welcome when I would pay the Hanlon family a visit, which was almost daily for many years! Glen and I were very best friends and spending time at their house beside Brandon University, was some of the happiest times of my Brandon upbringing. It was all about hockey and golf back then, with little time for anything else other than the odd cold beer as we grew older.
I remember one time Glen asked me to stop in at his house to get something for him and he said don't worry no one is there. So I stopped in after the bar on my way home, because I knew where they hid the house key. So at about 2 in the morning I round the hallway corner and there is Audrey's mom staring me in the face! We both screamed at the top of our lungs!!
I also remember Mr Hanlon driving us to Minnedosa to play hockey and telling us stories all the way. I will never forget his favorite "puck" story when he was a kid. One very cold winter he found a cow turd that resembled a hockey puck almost perfectly. He was so proud and happy with his new puck that he hid it behind the wood stove so no one would steal it. Of course when he went to fetch it later on, it was nothing but a warm puddle of poop!!
All the best to the Hanlon family and I will always remember Audrey Hanlon as the wonderful, kind mother of my best friend growing up in Brandon Manitoba. She was one classy lady with lots of energy!!

It was with shock and sadness that I learned of the passing of your beloved mother. I will always carry fond memories of her and your dad. They were wonderful; community supporters and active in so many causes. I always enjoyed running into either or both of them and having a good chat and to catch up on the family. Ward and Glen I offer my most sincere condolences to you and your families. May time never erase the beautiful memories you hold of your mother but ease the pain of her loss.

Ward, Glen and families
Please accept our deepest condolences in the loss of your mother.
We all have a lifetime of wonderful memories of a very special lady.
My parents had such a wonderful group of lifelong friends and your mom was at the centre of all the good times!
She was the "driving force" for all their dancing, travels, and activities and my parents thought the world of her and your dad.
We have many albums of pictures, poems, skits, and speeches they wrote and presented through the years and it always bring a smile when we read them ....even now.
Take care and know your are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Stewart Anderson, Brad and Val Gaukel and family. xo

Ward, Glen, & family,
I was sorry to learn of your mom's passing. Not only did our families share visits & picnics in the earlier years, but my husband & I always looked forward to a visit at the farmers' market on Saturdays for several years. Your mom always enjoyed her many hobbies and was truly a pint sized ball of both energy & enthusiasm. She'll be fondly remembered. Liane (Steven) Heinrichs

I was so sad to learn of your mom's passing. Not only have I known your parents all my life, but after I married, Don & I enjoyed our frequent visits at the farmers' market with your parents. Your mom always had so many activities to attend & enjoy, that she seemed like a pint sized whirlwind. She truly enjoyed life to the fullest & was an inspiration. She will be missed, but remembered with many smiles.

She was a really special woman and the funniest client I ever worked with. She had the funniest jokes and side comments. She loved her family and was loved by all who knew her. I am indeed blessed to have crossed path with you. I know you are going to keep the Angels laughing all day long. Rest well Audrey!:heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes::innocent::innocent::innocent::innocent::innocent:

Our hearts are sad but so full of wonderful memories that we at Daughter On
Call shared with Audrey. She was known as "momma" to many of us, and we delighted in her feisty nature. She loved to dance, sing, give hugs and kisses and delight us with stories of her youth and her family. She was so much more than a client, she was family and we will cherish her memory the rest of our lives.
Dance like no one is watching sweet Audrey! xo
