To all of Nan's family my deepest condolences. I met Nan through my Mom who met Nan and Bud through her job at the Brandon Clinic. Through being patients at Mom's station they became friends. We visited them at the farm and also when they would come to Brandon. I hadn't seen Nan for a long time. My Mom passed away suddenly 3 years ago. Not long after that I was in the checkout line at Wal Mart. I felt someone looking at me behind me in line. I didn't turn around. Once I was done paying for my items I turned around and low and behold it was Nan with her sister. She had moved to Rivers but she didn't know my Mom had passed away..... I could tell it saddened her as my Mom was only 67 when she passed. Nan was one of a kind. She was a good person with an amazing heart. She was another one taken from this earth too soon.

To the deMontigny and Waller families - I was so very sorry to read of Annette's sudden passing. I have so many fond memories of Nan going back decades to the years spent as next-door neighbours on Cote Street growing up (with Aline and Henry especially), then at the farm in Ste. Anne and even my one very long (for me) trip to Virden. I have such good memories and remember all the laughs we shared. Nan was a very speciall lady who will be deeply missed. You all have my deepest sympathy.
Fondly, Jan Fontaine

To Aline and Brian - we didn't know your sister but from all the kind words I have read, she must have been one great lady. She is now free from the terrible pain she was in and now will be able to watch over her family and do all her good work from above at a much higher level. Please accept our sincere condolences - Sharon and Mark.

It is very hard to say good bye to someone I have loved so very much. We had many, many fun times together. I bussed my way out to Virden several years in a row, never knowing what fun was awaiting me. Annette was always at the bus depot to pick me up (bag and baggage) and bringing her precious dog with her. One year it was to be there to watch all of the humming birds coming back to their summer home. Another year it was to be there to watch the calves being born and another time I even went ski-dooing with Pat while the others sat back and watched. We tipped over once but came back laughing so that was great. Annette was always number one in my books. She was so thoughtful and understanding and so much fun to be with. I'm really going to miss all of the fun times we had but I know you were getting tired and God said it was time for you to come home and rest. You will always be remembered . Peace be with you always.
With love, Ida.

It is so very hard to share a memory of time spent with Annette as I will cherish all my memories. What I know and love the most about Annette is she had the biggest heart. I have never met such a special lady like her. Annette welcomed everyone into her home, dogs, cats, people and treated everyone like royalty. Going to the farm was so special, long conversations around the kitchen table, so many laughs a FEW drinks, special occasions.
You will be missed so very much.......Love Bev
