To the Fowler families,
We just heard of Doreen's passing and want to send our sympathy to you all.
We just watched the video, and it brought many, many memories back for Al. I didn't get to know Doreen as well, but when we did get together I enjoyed her and Glen's company.
Al would have many stories, but we would have to write a book. He was definitely fond of both Glen and Doreen.
The video was a great memory for Al.

Brian, Brenda, Grant, Sharon and Susan, and your families; I cherish the memories of times spent with your famiy when we were growing up and later at family gatherings. Your Mom was such a great lady who always had a smile for us kids. I am sure sorry to hear of her passing. I have so many wonderful memories of both your Mom and Dad cheering us on when we were curling in the zones, provincials and even the odd bonspiel. Aunt "Deenie" was always so welcoming and generous with her time and love. I cherish the times when I visited her and Uncle Glen in my youth. I extend my heartfelt condolences to Doreen's family and friends. I remember her as a very positive, energetic and fun filled lady.. My cousin Sandra and I babysat for the Fowler family on occasion. I was fortunate to see Doreen within the last couple of years and we shared some of the shenanigans that went on...more with the babysitters than the babies. We shared some laughs and memories and I feel very fortunate to have had that time with her.
