I have known Leonard for over 20 years. At each meeting I sensed that he was steadfast in his faith & used his sense of humor to make light of the pain he was suffering. The last time was in January when I visited him in the care home. I could tell he was having a difficult time. I told him that he was on my prayer list, but he took me by surprise by saying the most beautiful prayer for me, asking God's blessing in my life & work and keeping me safe in my travels. What a powerful gift, that kind of blessing, coming from someone so sincere & near the end of his own life here on earth! There are many we meet in out lifetime..... Leonard, for me was special. My sincere sympathy & blessings to Sandra and family. Be comforted in knowing that he is at peace with the Lord.
