Obituary of Mark Ellis

ELLIS: Mark James Ellis passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon, MB on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 37 years. Mark was the beloved son of Harry and Connie Ellis; favourite brother of Stacey (Craig Lane), Kari (Steve Haggarty), and Amy (Jamie Bell); much loved uncle of Grady, Holly, Quincy, Paisley, Spencer, Corbin and Reegan; and a wonderful friend and co-worker to many. A Celebration of Mark's life will be held at the Clarion Hotel, 3130 Victoria Avenue, Brandon on Friday, February 28, 2020. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the program will begin at 7:30 pm, reception to follow. All who knew and loved Mark are invited to share in the celebration, and are encouraged to bring written memories of times spent with Mark for his family to collect. Mark and his family were grateful for all the support provided during his fight against cancer. If others wish, donations may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, "Western Manitoba Cancer Centre", 150 McTavish Avenue East, Brandon, Manitoba, R7A 2B3, in Mark's memory.
