Natalie, Dean, Cory and families,
Your mom, Judy, was like a second mom to me. Always welcoming me into your home in Rivers to participate in whatever fun was going on there. I was taking my babysitting course in Rivers and Judy allowed me to get my practical hours in by babysitting Coralie while she was out running errands. Growing up as best friends in school, Natalie and I have many, many stories of our times together at the house. Judy was a very fun loving caring person and although she has gone "home" to rest now, she will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Judy....until we meet again.
Joanne (aka "inch")

Hello Natalie, Dean, Coralie and family,
We are very sorry to hear of your mother Judy’s passing and that she had a stroke previously. We can only imagine how difficult it was for her and you to fight those complications. Judy was fortunate to have her loving family with her and a comfort for you. Though we had hoped to plan a visit to see her, it seemed increasing impossible with our own health issues, and the ever changing Covid-19 restrictions. We remember Judy to be very friendly to everyone. She loved to make buns, travel and her hair always looked great. She’ll be sorely missed. We wish we could attend her funeral, but know that is not possible so we will be thinking of you guys while reminiscing of fond memories of Judy. We would be pleased to receive a copy of her obituary.
Love Aunt Reta and Uncle Bob Kirk

One of my favourite memories of grandma was shopping for her outfit for a special occasion (I think maybe our grad). Despite her dementia, she never forgot her sense of style. She would disappear then come back with yet another part of a killer outfit in hand. I will never forget the look in mommas eyes when she started totalling up the price of the outfit. that's one of my favourite memories.

So sorry for the loss of your dear mother, whose quiet, thoughtful presence graced many of our family gatherings. She always wanted to make certain every one was well looked after and her lovely smile made us feel so welcome. Judy will not be forgotten as so many things remind me and my family of her. Wishing everyone in the family my sincere condolences. As a young teenager spent many days at Judy's house hanging out with Dean. Hard to believe she tolerated me breaking things in her house. She will be missed

Auntie Judy held a special place in my life as I grew up. Our family always stopped to visit on our trips from Ontario to Shaunavon. Rivers is where we got to play with cousins, have BBQ'd steak even in the dead of winter and enjoy big bacon and eggs for breakfast if we were lucky enough to stay overnight. Later, my great pleasure in enjoying the company of Auntie Judy and Uncle Vern became a special part of springtime / Easter visits in Freeport. That is where Ken and our children got to know and love Auntie Judy as much as I did. There is no doubt that life brings each of us joy in the persons of our family and loved ones. Auntie Judy played a role in the persons each of us has become.
What a special gift! A life marked with patience, understanding, kindness and generosity, such as the life Auntie Judy lived, graces all of our lives with experiences of those virtues. They are God-given. We are grateful for Auntie Judy's presence in our lives and our faith assures us that God has embraced Auntie Judy, that she rests in the warmth of His presence. May that same embrace console you in your sorrow at the loss of your mom/grandma/sister/friend.
Ken, Corinne, Ryan, Aimee, Quinn, Trevor, Kai, Liam Sampson.

I am sending my deepest condolences to you all at this sad time. No matter how old we are, it's never easy to lose a parent. But I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision that we make. Judy's love, I know, has left an indelible imprint in your hearts and in your memories. Judy was an incredibly kind person and remembering all the fun times we had at family gatherings fills me with joy. Know that I will never forget her kindness, her smile and joyful spirit. Sending Love and Prayers -- From Sister-in-Law, Linda Hanlon (Swift Current, Sask.)
