Lue and family, We are sorry to hear of George's recent passing. He was a wonderful man who always had a smile, hug and word of encouragement for everyone. His stories and laughter will forever be missed by all of us. He began as a customer and quickly became a cherished friend. His love for you and pride in his family was so evident. We hope your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I met George when Georganne and I were in nurses training together. Often throughout the years I would bump into him around town, and especially at Humpty's. Always he would exchange greetings and catch up a bit. Pass on our sympathy to Georganne and her children as well. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

George knew that everyday in this life was a bonus, and although it is very sad, I know it would have been the way he wanted.
My deepest sympathy is extended to you and your family. I will surely miss running into him around town. He was a great man!

Luella and Family,
I was so shocked and saddened by the recent news of George's passing!
My first encounter with George was when you had your heart attack several years ago. He stopped by our department (Emergency) on his way out to thank us for the wonderful care. He was so grateful, that he leaned over to kiss me . . . on the lips! I was so surprised!!
Since then, he has been like an old friend. No matter where I was in this town, I would run into George. He knew so many people and they, him. He reminds me so much of my own father, his large size and booming voice, but kind And gentle heart!

We are very sorry to hear of George's passing. What a great man. I ran into on numerous occasions in Safeway and he always greeted me with a friendly hello. We admired his involvement with his grandchildren at St. Augustine School where our children attended as well. He will be missed by all who knew him. We are thinking of you at this difficult time.

We are so sorry to hear of George's passing. He always had a friendly smile and greeting for us and our children. We smile each time we talk about the year that George went to great effort to bring us a pail of coal for our son Dylan, because that is what he had on his Christmas list! That was a sweet gesture that will never be forgotten - and neither will he.
Sending our love and condolences -
