Dear Audrey and family. We were very sad to hear of Irv passing. I have fond memories of times with Irv. My first real job was a summer job at Hydro working for Irv. He made that first nervous day very comfortable. He taught me many things and he was the best at the Hydro method of drafting I ever met. And very quickly he had me on the gate taking tickets at Cloverleaf games. That was a lot of fun. Irv was a fine caring person. Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time.
Condolences,
Chris and Greg Paulson

I spent many hours as a child with my cousins and Uncle Irv and Aunt Audrey up at Sandy Lake of which I have fond memories of. Uncle Irv was always busy around the yard, beach or on the dock while us kids played and loved to get in his way. He was very proud of the cabin and it was a great place for all to gather. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jarrett Jason, Sherrill Lee and Aunt Audrey and all who have lost this loving, caring man. We will celebrate his life and always remember him. My Mom Donna Orr couldn't have asked for a better brother and is thankful of the special relationship they shared over the years. Irv will remain forever in our hearts.

Audrey, Jarrett, Jason, Sherrill-Lee and family,
I was so sad to hear of Irv’s passing. I have many fond memories of him from my childhood. I’ve had a few smiles these past days thinking of him. I remember him as always laughing and teasing us kids and driving the boat at Sandy Lake for hours for us to water-ski. But for some reason the memory that stands out the most is how he always called our dog “Lanny McDonald” because of her moustache. Whenever he would see her, he would chuckle and say, “Here comes Lanny!” Your dad was one of the good ones and he will be missed.
I know you will have many fond memories to help you through, but I am sending love to you all during this time. Irv’s memory will live on for so many people that admired him and his spirit in the face of adversity.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of a friend, Irv.
I cannot say that I have met a more determined & dedicated person at the ball park. I totally enjoyed the opportunity to have shared the baseball stories that we were both passionate about. What Irv has had to endear over the years was a true inspiration. I will certainly miss you.
My condolences to Audrey & Family.
R.I.P. my friend.

Audrey and family:
I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Irv's passing. I have many memories of him dating back to the heydays of the Cloverleafs. I always admired his relentless struggle to return to the playing field after his accident at Hydro. He was an inspiration to me when I was recovering from my second stroke and learning to walk again. If he could do it so could I. My fondest wish for you is that time will be the great healer. It cannot erase the beautiful memories we hold of him, it can only ease the pain of his passing.
Brian Marshall,
Saanichton, BC
